Modifications: Omit D-glucose, increase amount of yeast extract to 2.00 g/l and add 2.50 g/l Na2S2O3 x 5 H2O from an anoxic sterile stock solution after autoclaving. Prior to inoculation add 10.00 ml/l of a sterile anoxic 1 M Na-crotonate solution (see medium 870).
